If you take a look you will see a new button on my sidebar today, this says it plain and simple ” For Heather”, I ask you take a moment—click on the button and take some time to do what you do best share your love and support. This button will also allow those who are able, can and would like to donate to do so. I am asking you to just take time to read Heather’s story.
Each one of us think we have problems and we do but can you imagine—Heather is a young lady who is the mother of three children, one who is special in her own right—-Emma Grace
Emma Grace is our miracle baby. She was born in congestive heart failure and received a heart transplant at the age of 5 months old. The first 5 months of her life were spent in ICU on life support. I have never been closer to God as I was during those 5 months- and still today knowing the odds of her future, I can honestly say that she has been firmly placed in the center of the palm of the Lord. Her originally chosen name was Emma Madeline (to follow my obsessive EMG theme) but once we found out in utero about her heart condition, we named her Emma Grace, because we believed Gods grace would be sufficient- no matter what we faced with her future. Today she is a 5 year old ball of energy who also happens to be Autistic, she loves her autism school almost as much as she loves Barney. She has taught our family more in her short life than most will ever learn.
If this is not enough—-now Heather will be having brain surgery today for a brain tumor.
I ask you to please do what you can for this family, they have been through so much in the last several years.
Please keep them in your thoughts, and prayers.
Now “For Heather”
Almighty God, my heavenly Father, as you have always sent angels to do your healing work, so you have sent men and women as instruments of your healing now. Bless the surgeons and all who will attend to Heather, that their knowledge and skill might bring the healing they desire. Grant her the confidence to know that all of her days are in your care. Through Jesus Christ, my Lord. Amen

I came across this blog actually by accident but I must thank you. I have had (what I thought was) a terrible weekend. I believe God sent me here as a reminder, that things could always be worse ( and of course that it is time to get my head out of my butt). My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hang in there and god bless you.
