There is a lot of “Bull” this time of the year—-take that any way you want but what I really mean is—there is a lot of birthdays this time of the year in my group of family and friends. For those who are into astrology that means many of them happen to be known as : Taurus the Bull. Just a minute here I am not the one saying you are known this way. I’m just reminding everyone of the well known Astrology Signs.

I guess the thing is do people believe in Astrology signs—what they say—-and all or is it just hype—-I don’t care this does all have a purpose here today.

Today, Monica and Teresa have birthday’s. Another dear blogger friend, TFLS, celebrated her birthday, Tuesday. These ladies are well known to some of you but might not be to others, but each one is special to me in their own unique way. I am blessed our paths crossed and would like to acknowledge them on their day ( TFLS sorry this is late—you are one of my heroes)

As I researched, wanting to know more about—–Taurus the Bull—here is what I found—– just remember I have a disclaimer here—-this is what I found—-and I said at first do people believe….is it hype…it has a purpose….

It has been said that Taurus can be self indulgent and stubborn but with all that the Taurean makes a good person to depend on, following through with any promises to help or, in matters of family responsibilities, seeing that their needs are met over and beyond what one would expect. The taurean is possessive and greedy to a great extent and it will usually show up in dietary habits if it is not readily apparent in human relationships. What a Taurean owns, belongs to Taurus and NO ONE ELSE! It is the sign that is closer to the earth than all the others and therefore the Taurus may have to battle the baser urges more than most.

The main possession of a Taurus is their sense of oneness and harmony with the earth. When you have gotten in tune with this inner sense then you will no longer feel harassed into trying to gain all the money and possessions you want just to supplement a feeling that, hereto fore, you were not able to comprehend. You have a positive effect on other peoples lives due to your sense of calmness and inner peace that acts as an inspiration. You have an earthly wisdom that is much sought after which makes you a popular person with your peers.

Ultimately you must decide on, claim, and hold to your highest values, discarding all those things in your life that is of lesser lights. This way will you be able to meet the challenges laid out for you by the stars on the day you were born. You must root out and overthrow the tendencies of greed and jealousy as vibrating to a higher level leaves no place in your life for such qualities.

There is a darker side to your earthly wisdom and oneness that is your most dangerous side if not kept under control and mastered. These traits are , inertia, sluggishness and ‘the beast’….grossness which comes about as a result of the fear of changes or of things you think you cannot handle. When you are overtaken with these fears you quickly attract those that will irritate you to the point of making the changes, fear or no fear and it is then that stability reasserts itself.

The Taurus woman will always be attractive since she retains her bloom for many years and never fails to take care with her appearance. An excellent home-maker and hostess, this female knows exactly what she wants in a material sense. However, she is not always very wise in the philosophic area. Still, this woman learns quickly and with experience, becomes a valuable asset to any partner who places a successful relationship high on the list for happiness. There are certain to be ups and downs with a female governed by this Sign. Although she is capable of loving in a whole-hearted fashion, she can, if provoked, be very contrary and resentful. However, as a life partner, she will be faithful and true since, from an early age, she is a firm believer in the “one and only” type of love. Even if this female becomes disillusioned later in life and her ideal appears to have been crushed, she will hold fast to her vision of a one mate commitment. Perhaps the most devoted and dependable woman of the Zodiac in the sense of a long-term commitment, the Taurus female will endure extreme hardship rather than abandon a partner. She will always be satisfied with her mate’s efforts on her behalf…and such efforts are likely to be rather ambitious since the Taurus woman is usually quite a pushy character in a somewhat secret way. This is a female who appears to be calm, reserved and everybody’s friend, but beneath that sedate composure resides a great deal of jealousy along with the desire to possess the rich things life has to offer. Affectionate and demonstrative, the female ruled by Taurus has a determined and persistent streak. Although she prefers to give the impression that she is dependent, she is perfectly capable of helping herself if the need arises. When given the opportunity to reside in a luxurious home, this woman delights in showing off her truly wonderful house-keeping abilities and her gracious social charm.
