Ryan Clark , the RA in West AJ, a senior with triple majors in psychology, biology and English and a 4.0 GPA, a member of the Marching Virginians Band, a young man who could put a smile on any one’s face and loved helping children once lived across the street from me. It is believed he was one of the very first killed in the string of killings that took place—-it matters not which number he was…..He is gone, I will never see that smile again other than when I see it reflected in his twin brother Bryan.
His parents Lettie and Stan are in shock and heart broken—-Ryan was all ready for his graduation, had all his credits and was remaining on campus until his family could come up for his graduation ceremonies in May.
Life will never be the same for Ryan’s family and friends. You will be forever missed.
Soar, sing, and dance Ryan

It’s sad to see someone at the threshold of his life being ripped away from a bright future by such violent means.
I cannot begin to feel his parents loss of having such a vital appendage being removed from their family at a time when celebration and laughter should be present instead of the sorrow and pain they must feel.
I am sorry for their loss and yours, to have someone you knew and touch you being taken away forever, never to enjoy again.

It is the loss of a life like this that just defies any logic that we humans can come up with. Such a talented young man, primed for life…it is heartbreaking.
I pray for his family and for the others.

Vickie,
Im so sorry. Its hard enough to comprehend, and I dont even personally know any of those lost in Virgina. Such an awful loss for so many.

Oh, Vickie. My heart is broken. This is the most devastating thing ever. I so wish people would stop making it political… about gun control… etc. That’s not the important thing. The important thing is the loss of so many bright and beautiful stars of our future.
My prayers have gone up, non-stop, since I first heard for some sense of peace and comfort for all.
Please extend my sincere condolences to Ryan’s family. They are in my heart.
God Bless everyone…

The shootings in Virginia are an unspeakable crime.
I can imagine what the parents feel, the worry over not knowing their child was there or not, the devastation over such a promising life and future snuffed out.
For no reason whatsoever.
I’m sorry.
