It is that time of the month—-no not that time—–it is the time for the Perfect Post Awards and this month is even more special, it is the one (1) year anniversary. Many times in the past I have thought about taking part and never stepped over to do so, this time I took the step.
Have you ever been reading a post and started to shake your head—the shaking of your head was a positive affirmation—–There, but for the grace of God, goeth I…..Yes that is just what happened as I was reading these posts that I found here, here and here but it was too late to nominate them as the best post however low and behold along came someone who is near and dear to me with a post along the same lines. He chose to title his Harsh Lessons 2 which you can find here. He had previously shared a Harsh lesson with us which you can find here.
I, myself have been on the receiving end of the games played on the internet. I experienced something very similar to what Sassy talked about in her post and even more recently something else happened.
I applaud Walker for his desire to prevent others for experiencing harm and for taking the time to share his experiences with us. Knowing the pain it brings, I would also like for more people to be aware of the dangers that take place here on the internet by people with think of as friends. That my friends is the reason I chose Walker’s Harsh Lessons as my Perfect Post of the Month—to educate— to teach
I urge you to read the posts I have discussed here they are some very HARSH LESSONS—–but I also encourage you to visit MammaK at Petroville or Lindsay at Suburban Turmoil for some of the best posts written each month- and to spread some love in your comments , you just find a few new blogs as well. You can also learn how to present an award yourself, I know you want to spread your love so go check it out. You might laugh, you might cry, you might believe again no matter what you will find many perfect posts here or here..
Thank you Walker for being my perfect post this month, thank you MommaK and Lindsay for hosting the Perfect Post Awards every month.—-By the way you all ROCK.

Morning. I understand the harsh lessons. Been there more than a few times. But you know something? I’ll post right back if someone is harassing me. Life is like that though. I am sure right now, people are discussing me. My life, my poetry, my being a multiple.
I just don’t care. I know who my friends are, and that’s all that matters.

I just read Walker’s post that you mentioned. It’s a shame this happened to him, and I can understand the frustration he experienced. I think I’m glad that I don’t even know how to “track” people who might visit my blog. If a person leaves comments, that’s fine; if not, that’s fine also. The last thing I want is to make enemies online or off. For good reasons, I’ve stopped “naming” family members for the most part, and don’t share as much of my personal life as I did in the beginning. But, this doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to. I agree that the internet can be a scary place at times. I think I know who my friends are online; you’re one of the best I’ve made. I appreciate you, what you stand for, and what you live with. You’re the “real deal” and I love you!

It is good to see you posting regularly again. I’ve missed you, although I don’t seem to have as much time to read blogs as I used to have so when I do get the chance to visit I have multiple posts to catch up on.
I will go check some of these you have mentioned. I’ve always just used initials when I refer to others on my blog. It is a shame we have to do that but the Internet world can be a scary place. It is better to be safer, especially with other people’s identities.

I have not recieved an award or nominated an award yet. I thought you had to recieve one to be able to nominate. We read many of the same blogs. If I had to give a perfect post award this month it would have been for the SAME post you nominated.
Walker is awesome!

Oh Vickie. You have NO IDEA how close to home this has hit - Boston Redhead’s MOST ESPECIALLY. In fact, I’m emailing the link to this post to my girlfriends AnonymousD and Oneofthree - this is how we met - all played by the same guy. For me, he was just a long distant friend (I thought). Someone I actually “defended” (and I hope AnonD and Ofofthree will find it in their hearts to forgive me one day). I finally got him on a three way phone call. The creep is busted, but he really hurt two beautiful young ladies in his wake.
Thank you for taking the time to send out this warning. I have been “stalked” by a cyber creep myself (but figured out how to alienate him by banning him from ever even seeing my website).
This is so important… it is so easy for those who are vulnerable (and even those who are not-so-vulnerable) to be swayed into something wrong and fake… in the same breath I have to say many wonderful relationships come to fruition in the same way (internet).
I’m sorry for the long comment… I need to send this to my girls (1& 2 of 3).
Love to you sweet Vickie.

Vicki, your posts are always perfect to me, specially this one about Walker. You are one of the most kindest persons I know, like my friend Nadia.
Maybe you should host a perfect comment award, but knowing you we will all win, which would be so cool! My hamster Duckie is smiling!
