Let me interrupt the schedule here for something very important. We all know the political arena is heating up and things are going to be interesting for the Presidential election in 2008. We have many who are throwing their hat in for this very important job. With all that are out there and talking about what they can do, I’ve decided we need to send Sgt. Hook to Washington. Wait a minute—-let me explain something he is very qualified. He is currently a Command Sergeant Major, in United States Army, a husband, a father, a son, a brother, and a friend. He is my friend I should know.
Now why is this interruption so important to me and what is this about sending Hook to Washington. Well Sgt Hook has been nominated for Best Milblog over at VA Mortgage Center Blog and there is a nice prize for the first place winner. If Sgt. Hook wins, he plans on using the prize money to finance a trip to Washington D.C. in May for the annual Milblog Conference, with any leftovers going to the Fisher House.
Go here vote for Sgt. Hook and send him to Washington. Don’t STOP and please don’t WAIT time is running out. The voting ends at Noon Central Standard Time on Tuesday January 23.

It looks like that VA Loan company is going to post some updates from Hook when he goes to the conference, so it looks like he is attending. I am happy for him.
