We have two worlds, did you know that—we do and I imagine you are not thinking about the two I am going to talk about even if you admit to thinking there is two. Now as for the two worlds—I call them, the inner world and the outer world. You see the inner world is what goes on inside me and the outer world is what goes on outside me. I have complete control over my inner world, it is up to me what I say and what I do. Now that other world—–WOW, the outer one, yeah that one it is a whole different one, I don’t control it but don’t think you my friends control it either.

There are some things in the outer world that I can control—but this was not a post about when you talk bad about me, or your neighbor, or you sister or your souse—actually this was about the things like illness, death, disaster and wars. No I do not control that outer world no matter what I do.

My point with this post and the beginning of the New Year is to remember, it is not how the world or the people in the world affect me but it’s how I react to the things in my outer world that makes a difference in my life. This is my life and I have only one and I will continue to share here with the Same Woman, New Beginnings…..the Sweet n Spicy One.

As I begin this year, I make no resolutions I just strive to be true to myself as I may not have always done in the past. In doing so I resolve to continue with this character:

Be a woman….

Who cannot be bought;

Whose word is their bond;

Who put character above wealth;

Who possess opinions and a strong will;

Who are larger than their vocations;

Who do not hesitate to take risks;

Who will not lose their individuality in a crowd;

Who will be as honest in small affairs as in greater;

Who will make no compromise with wrong;

Whose ambitions are not confined to their own selfish desires;

Who will not say they do it “because everybody else does it;”

Who are true to their friends through good and bad, in adversity as well as in prosperity;

Who do not believe that shrewdness, cunning, and hardheadedness are the best qualities for winning success;

Who are not ashamed or afraid to stand for the truth when it is unpopular;

Who can say “no” with emphasis, although all the rest of the world says “yes.”

One of the New Beginnings you will be seeing more about is the life style changes I will be making. This will change the outer me not the inner me and it is to have a much improved health.
