As I talked in my last post I am surrounded by love from my family, so many years ago I looked across there and knew when he wlked in the door who he was, yes he was the ONE. We had spoken many hours on the phone prior to the meeting but this was the very first time I had seen him. We have heard others say that and often wondered how could that be but you do know when all is right. It is interesting to know that even his father is reported to have told his mother after meeting me for the first time, I would be the one but we were not told that until we married of course. There is no special reason for this post—–well not like it is a special date or anything.
It just woke up and realized how wonderful my husband is and thought I would say something about him because I never do. He is the night where I am day, he is the sun where I am the moon, he is quiet where I am loud, he is the introvert where I am the extrovert……you get the picture we are very diffirent but compliment each other He is my strength in many ways, he completes me which is something it has taken me a very long time to realize.

Our love is more overwhelming than ever
Our love is wilder than ever
Oue love is more exciting than ever
Oue love is more confident than ever
Our love is more meaningful than ever
Time passes by and
Our love is more lasting ever
and better than ever.
So many changes some are GREAT and some are not but we take things day by day and deal with them. Life Is Simply Good.

You are truly blessed if you can feel this in your heart. I wish I could. I love my WH in some ways… but the minuses far out weigh the pluses. I just wish I could have seen it back before I said “I do”. Huge hugssssssss!!

That’s wonderful that you KNEW right away. With my wife and I, it was more like we grew to realize it over several years. It wasn’t that love at first sight kind of things.
I also suggest getting him a little something for no other reason that to say you’re thinking about him. I find gestures like that say a lot more than a gift for an occasion.

Good post Vicky. I am so glad yo feel that way. I am in awe everyday at the way love can continue to grow. Going through ups and downs strengthens relationships, An I am not talking about the ones in bed (tho they are nice too( lol. I came close to ending my marrage, but now its the best part of my life. Amazing how sometimes it takes almost loosing what we love before we see its value!
