Friendship is the art of forgetting oneself totally, all selfish needs and wants, and getting to know the person and character of one another.
It’s lerning to accept a person not for what they are on the outside, but for what they reveal to you from the inside.
It’s strengthening oneself with the qualities found in a friend and the experiences shared with each other.
It’s learning and growing to care for a person in such a way that you hurt when they hurt, and you are able to feel their joy when it comes to them.
Friendship means being there to give to one another without any thought of taking, being there to support another when they are weak, or giving them your smile when they have lost their own.
Friendship is the blending of loving and caring.
The art of friendship, in the most basic form , is love that care.
Friendship is Karen.
Talent and dreams are not enough to survive
It’s how we handle the questions inside
There are so many possibilities
To be what you can be
If you could see your future
That’s coming on full speed
It took talent for Monet to draw the Water Lilies
It takes talent for me to make a pie from peachs
It takes talent to turn dreams into reality
But it take desire to finish the scene
Talent and dreams can only take flight
If we walk through our mind to the dreams daylight
Some always knew what they wanted to be
Following their hearts lets them see
Talent and dreams need belief and desire
One without the other won’t set the fire
Patience keeps them all together
Until you become what you want to be.

Karen is very good at what she does. I ordered one of her photographs and poems for my mothers birthday. It is beautiful and my mom loves it !!

Ahhhh freindship. I truly don’t think I’ve been very good at it. Must be the selfishness. I’ve only been a true friend to one person - and she’s about to be taken away from me. My punishment I guess. Dark times ahead.

It strikes me that those same words apply to a spouse, but of course friendship is a part or marriage as well.
