Crying Eyes

I’m crying,
I’m crying for the rain
that’s spreading over me,
I’m crying for the land
that slowly slips away,
I’m crying for my love
that’s lying in my arms,
I’m crying for my life
that’s so hard to ignore,
but nothing really matters
while I sit and shed my tears
My tears of grief and worry,
My tears of pain and fear,
I’m crying,
I’m crying for the ones
that died some time ago,
I’m crying for the ones
that never will let go,
I’m crying for the sun
that’s slowly creeping up,
I’m crying for the night
that’s slipping out of sight,
but that’s all apast us now
yet I sit and shed my tears
My tears of grief and worry
My tears of pain and fear,
I’m crying for it all
but no one can ever see,
These tears I shed
for all these things
But I’m crying my friend
so please just leave.
Why can’t you go away
and let me shed my tears,
Why must you stay here
and say these comforting affairs?
I want you to just leave me
and let me cry alone,
My tears are mine,
My good old friend,
So please just let me cry
for all of the unknown.

That sounds a lot like my Wife’s personality. But people shouldn’t have to cry alone.

I love it. Sometimes it’s good to cry. After all, we our human beings and emotions eludes to believe that nothing good can come from it. And I agree with the rest of your friends, we are all here for ye Vicki. Just knock if you need us:thumbsup:

I don’t read or write a lot of poetry anymore, but that was one powerful poem. Good job.

Sometimes we need to cry alone and at other times we need others to comfort us.
Sometimes a kind work or a hug can go along way to making us feel better.
