On this special day make certain you have taken the time to do something special for your mom, it is her special day. So for today Mom please know even on those days I forget to say it you are loved and this is for you.
Take the Time
If I stop for just a minute
I find myself thinking
Back over all those years
Did I ever take the time.
Just to say thank you
For all you did for me
You walked by my side
Picking me up when I fell
Holding my hand or letting go
Wiping those crocidel tears
You did so many things
Even the small things
You celebrated my success
You accepted my defeats
You instilled in me good morals
You taught me the value of hard work
It was from you I learned
Those Important things in
Life Called Courage
And Honesty.
Mom For those many times
I did not thank you I’m thanking you now
I hope you’ve known all along
How very much you are loved and appreciated.

That is a nice poem. I will try to leave a comment again. This time I am on my laptop & in Spokane. I tried to comment from home on my desktop before I left but it would not “take” when I tried to submit the comment. I am reading you but, so far, haven’t been able to leave a comment. Maybe it will work okay now.
I like the look of your new blog & I can see some advantages to having a site of your own. Blogger gets so frustrating some times!

Have you ever asked your Mom about how she got to know your father. How they fell in love or got together. How you were born and what they felt when you came into existence?
I find these amazing stories to listen to, especially now that I am an adult myself and I could be in the same situation of having children.
