Another week is here, let us do our part to make it a better week.

Enjoy life
Never take your life for granted
Whatever comes your way,
Just grasp it within both hands
And enjoy it every day.
Sometimes sorrow comes your way
Bringing darkness,blocking out the light,
That’s the time for you to pray and
To not hope but to know you’ll win the fight.
Life is not just many miles but a journey
Through and over mountains, hills and vales
We cannot always have just the sunshine
If we have not the rain and gales.
So enjoy each second of the moment,
And always give your very best
Remember to keep faith forever
Then you’ll be forever truly blessed.

Then do not squander time,
for that is the stuff life is made of.

to look upon it as an adventure.

Life is a pure flame,
and we live by an invisible sun within us.

As I grow to understand life less and less,
I learn to love it more and more.

I could sit for hours on that bench and just think about life and all it has brought. Nice poem and great quotes to ponder.

I love that pic and the poem is beautiful. It’s not difficult to imagine sitting there because we had a cold front hit and drop us down to 60.
“Life is short, art long, opportunity fleeting, experience treacherous, judgment difficult.”
I love that quote.

Shortly after my father died and I flew home to resume work, another broadcaster, a nice guy walked over and put his hand firmly on my shoulders and asked if it was true that I lost my father during Chritsmas. I said yes. He said he was sorry and that he lost his 5 years earlier–out of the blue–from a stupid back operation. I had a newscast coming up and when I was off the air, I walked over to his booth and said: “Can I ask a stupid question?” His comeback line was a relief:”There are no stupid questions”. lol!

Lovely picture, and great quotes Vickie.
I really like this one too;
A neurotic is a man who builds a castle in the air.
A psychotic is the man who lives in it.
A psychiatrist is the man who collects the rent.

“To not hope but to know you’ll win the fight.”
That is so important indeed. Sometimes the people around you, because they hope the best for you, express their concern that you will be all right. They point you to the dangers. They don’t see how you are fighting day in and day out. To overcome well-meant but not very helpful comments like that, it’s of utmost importance to believe in your life yourself.

“Life is a tragedy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think.”
Such is life with the 2 major characters: a tragic and a comic.
