Secrets for the future | Filed under General

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child or a special friend run his fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you never walk alone.

I leave you a tradition of the future. The tender loving care of human beings will never become obsolete.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, redeemed and redeemed and redeemed. Never throw anyone away.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you’ll find one at the end of your arm.

As you grow older, you’ll discover that you have two hands: One for helping yourself, the second for helping others.

You have great days still ahead of you. May there be many of them.

Today was one of those great days for me, I have always said it is little things in life that bring me such great pleasure and happiness. I received one of those things today, a nice phone call with one of my best friends. This is one of those friends where you understand each other much better than others and share a special connection at the soul. Life is Simply Good for both of us and keeps us from sharing as often as we would like but when we do share it is if we had just talked yesterday for we are always with each other. We are always together in memories, in our thoughts, and in our hearts. I hope each of you have special friends like this. Yes Life Is Simply Good. Smile and Soar! Oh and don’t forget to share with me anything you have on your mind.

I’m enjoying some of my favorite simple pleasures at this very moment. I’ve just finished planting some flowers and inhaling that wonderful earthy scent. Now I’ve got my new favorite tea (black chai spice) in a favorite mug and I’m sitting outside with my laptop after a hard day’s work.

    Feels so good.
:) Cheers to you, my friend. *clink*

I love all those wise old sayings. They are just so very very true. Isn’t it wonderful to have a friend like that. Someone who is so connected its as though God went and sewed your souls together:)
I have the great pleasure of talking to my kindred spirit friend every day, he is a truck driver and I just made him get a cell phone the last time he was out my way. He has thanked me at least a thousand times now…lol…I don’t know what I would ever do without him:)

I have a few “very special” friends whom I cherish with all my heart both male and female and no matter the distance, no matter the time since we last communicated, whenever we get in touch with each other, it was as if it were just yesterday. The friendships are comfortable, sincere, loving, honest and unconditional. When I make friends, I make them for life and therefore I place a high value on the friendships I choose to cultivate. The friends I have are music to my soul - they bring into my life so much joy. I love them all dearly.

I would trade my friends for anything in the world. Not my real life friends and especially not my blogging friends. They keep me sane and keep me sober. I agree with you 100%!!!

    Take care.

I think that one is very fortunate enough as it is to ever find and to have a “soulmate” in the form of friendship. I have that with one friend, and just recently met a new one with whom I have instant connection with. It is amazing how we both feel as if we’ve known one another for a lifetime. It is unexplainable, yet it feels that no explanation is necessary.

I want to spread this cheer to you, too, and to let you know how very very happy I am lately. Thank you for your optimism and encouragement through my difficult times.

I am fortunate to have YOU as my friend. :)
    Hugs.
    Cecilia

I have a few friends like that Victoria, friends that are good for my soul. We don’t talk often, and we do not need to, there is that connection. I am truly blessed to have folks like that in my life, and I feel very sad for those who don’t.

Enjoy our holiday weekend, lovely lady.

Wow - I love this new look Ms. Victoria - cool!!
I lost my very, very best friend and soul mate three years ago - she was the very epitomy of what friendship is all about. We met in jr. high and remained friends over 40 years. I miss her, but, you know? I still talk to her, and I know she hears me. I have other friends I treasure, some of whom I have actually met in this blogworld - YOU are one of those precious people! God Bless..
