Day 3 of the Circle of Love | Filed under General
Hii there! Thanks for being with me on this brand new day–I hope that it turns out to be a great one for you. To now where you are is a good thing; but it is as important and perhaps more so, to know where you are going. I know where the Circle of Love is going and so does Joe and Karen. We are about to share it with you and hope you will be going there soon. This young lady was nominated by two people and here is what one of them had to say about her…..
This is hard for me because there are so many people out there that deserve this. There is one special lady that stands out in my mind though, Leslie of Critter Lover. Leslie shares with us her love for life, for her husband and for all of nature. She can take the dreariest of days and make the sun shine brightly. She takes life’s simplest things and finds such love and goodness.
The other person also nominated Karen just like they nominated Leslie and said there name as if to tell me….well you know what to do just go to it now.
Leslie, I know you will be surprised but you are so deserving of this award and many others for you are not just a critter lover you are a lover of all. Please accept this and enjoy it in the manner of which it is extended. Now knowing your love for critters I have selected a very special poem for you.
A Critter
Sensual and sleek
She models the fur
Posing her limbs
Eyes made to allure
Arrogantly she stretches
A pretence to make
Photographers surround her
Their pictures to take
Awed by her beauty
All men want to touch
She ignores their attentions
It means nothing much
Should we condemn her
As she lays on the mat
Or do we accept
That she’s only a cat?

Sitting at my desk, taking a break to eat a granola bar, I thought I’d pop over to your place and see what you were up to.
Imagine my surprise to find this wonderful entry. I’m actually a little teary after having read this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words and that beautiful poem. You truly have made an already great day shine.
