It’s April fools’ day here in the states, a day when we’re supposed to play tricks on each other for some reason or another. Many of you have heard me say how I don’t have a lot of energy so I thought it better for me to see if it might not be more gratifying, though, to spend my time thinking of nice things i can do for others than to spend time and energy trying to come up with ways to trick them. Funny how that works. . . .

So here is the deal and there is no trick but there is a lot of treat and love involved today I am going to tell you more about the Circle of love. This is the first month in which someone will receive Always Victoria’s Circle of Love award. I would like for you to e-mail me the person or persons you feel who is most deserving to receive an award for being that person or persons who is a true friend and stands for these qualities….

Understanding
That their Life is as important to them
As mine is to me

Compassion
For all the pain and suffering
That comes with being Human

Tolerance
Of that which they choose to believe
And the way they choose to live

And the Freedom
To know their own Life
And to discover and develop their own abilities
Without any unwarranted hatred or prejudice from me

So who do you know that is a good understanding, compassionate person who tolerates others to be who they choose to be and works to unite and make us all better and deserves to be appreciated? Send it to me at alwaysvictoria@bellsouth.net by April 15th and the winner will be announced by April 25th. In your e-mail please include a very short reason why you feel this person should be recognized and it is preferred they have a blog and be known in the blog community. The winner or winners will receive a choice between a gift certificate of $ 25.00 to the place of their choice or a donation will be made in their honor to the charity of the month at Blog Togs.

This is my little way of adding some love to the cyber world and also it is my hope that many will chose to donate to the charity but each person will make their own choice and I understand you might have a reason you need that little extra gift certificate that month for something that came up and that is also the reason the gift certificate will be open for us to discuss. I am starting out with this amount so it will not go lover and in the event there should be two winners, there could be times the person receives more. If you are nominated 10 times the same month you deserve to be recognized for that however you will not be recognized more than twice a year. I will have other involved with making the decision and you will not know who they are. I wish I could more and make this even more fun but I do hope to find many playing in the manner it is meant.

In reaching out a hand of love,
To touch another heart;
A seed of love is planted,
And so the circle starts.
From that tiny seed of love,
A garden grows and blooms;
Bringing forth a flower of hope,
That shares its sweet perfume

For every time the blossom,
Is passed from man to man;
The circle grows much stronger,
As they join hand in hand.
A never ending circle,
Will keep on touching hearts;
As long as seeds of love still bloom,
That were planted at the start.
