You Are…. | Filed under General

You are strong…
when you take your grief and teach it to smile.

You are brave…
when you overcome your fear and help others
to do the same.

You are happy…
when you see a flower and are thankful
for the blessing.

You are loving…
when your own pain does not blind you to the
pain of others.

You are wise…
when you know the limits of your wisdom.

You are true…
when you admit there are times you
fool yourself.

You are alive…
when tomorrow’s hope means more to you than
yesterday’s mistake.

You are growing…
when you know what you are but not what you
will become.

You are free…
when you are in control of yourself and do not wish
to control others.

You are honorable…
when you find your honor is to honor others.

You are generous…
when you can take as sweetly as you can give.

You are humble…
when you do not know how humble you are.

You are thoughtful…
when you see me just as I am and treat me
just as you are.

You are merciful…
when you forgive in others the faults you condemn
in yourself.

You are beautiful…
when you don’t need a mirror to tell you.

You are rich…
when you never need more than what you have.

You are you…
when you are at peace with who you are not.

Remember the Circle of love award will be coming here very soon. We will be honoring those who have touched our life and do stand for the following….

Understanding
That their Life is as important to them
As mine is to me

Compassion
For all the pain and suffering
That comes with being Human

Tolerance
Of that which they choose to believe
And the way they choose to live

And the Freedom
To know their own Life
And to discover and develop their own abilities
Without any unwarranted hatred or prejudice from me

For even if I do not offer Love
There is no other foundation
On which Love can grow

Begin to think of who you will like to see receive this honor for I will be asking you for your input here very soon every month.

For a short update on Kristin……

She is improving but there is a very long road ahead. She is off the vent, out of the coma , unable to talk as that is the area of the brain that is injured, she does follow simple commands that you tell her, she has stood for the first time, she hugged her dad when he told her to, and she has written his name. She has been evaluated for transfer to Shepherd Rehab hospital in Atlanta on Friday. They are great, as they handle only Spinal cord injuries, head injuries and MS patients. I know them well and the miracles they are known for as I have been there and used them for my MS.

Thank you for all your prayers, thoughts, comments, and for those who continue to keep us all in your thoughts and prayers. You have no idea how much we need them and we appreciate them. You are such great people.
