A thesaurus offers many synonyms for the word “friend”: companion, partner, helper, co-worker, colleague, ally, chum, pal, and alter ego, to name but a few. Like the people who create them, each friendship is unique. But one thing is certain: Enduring friendship, while difficult to cubbyhole, is easy to recognize. We know it when we see it.
Epicurus wrote, “Of all the things that wisdom provides to make life happy, by far the greatest is friendship.” Over two thousand years have passed since the Greek sage offered this observation, but little has changed. Friendships are still among the most sublime of human pleasures. I thank God for yours.
Friendship is a single dwelling in two bodies. Aristotle
Friendship that flows from the heart cannot be frozen by adversity,
as the water that flows from spring cannot congeal in winter. James Fenimore Cooper
Your Presence
I carry your presence in my heart
It’s nothing anyone can see
It’s just a forever feeling
That lives in the heart of me.
I feel your friendly presence
From time to time it comes
Perhaps as a fleeting smile
Or in the beauty of a setting sun.
The way you touch me over time
Is a pleasure I can’t deny
And your friendship that lives within
Will be with me till the day I die.
I love my friends, even when they have their doubts, as life pulls us in two different directions and time becomes our enemy that is just life and living with MS some of my time might just have to be spent resting these days trying to catch the next burst of energy but I still must say Life Is Simply Good for I am happy.

Friends are precious. But sometimes if you leave one out in the cold too long, they’ll walk away to find a warmer place. Friendship takes work. It can’t be one-sided.

i can only say, we rarely realise true friendship when we have it, but when we do, we must cherish it more than ever.

Ever the positive and fighter for light you are. Keep strong!
BTW, I know I left a comment on your last entry but it is not there. hmmm. In any case, I mentioned about hoping and wishing to be the type of person who sees beauty in everything. Because if I were a weed growing out of a crack of a wall, then I would be happy knowing that. in someone’s eyes, I am beautiful and appreciated. In the end, I myself have caused happiness to a normally unappreciated creature.
I heart you, V.
