“Thank you for being my friend!’ These six words have the power to warm our hearts and brighten our days. Emily Dickinson spoke for friends everywhere when she observed and then said, ” My friends are my estate.” She understood that friends are among our most treasured possessions. But unlike a bank account or a stock certificate, the true value of friendship is beyond measure.
February brings us Valentine’s Day which I have decided it appropriate to honor the heart during this month. Why you must be thinking, not only does it pump our life’s blood, it is also the center of our feelings, emotions and beliefs, the source of our capacity for sympathy, generosity and compassion; the representation of our courage and fortitude; and the very core of our ability and desire to love and be loved.
So this month, many of my post will be about friends and love. You will find quotations that celebrate the joys and the rewards of friendship. You’ll consider thought provoking ideas about laughter, loyalty, sharing and trust. You’ll be be reminded of what it means to aid an ally, to back a backer, or to console a comrade. You may just even be inspired to pick up the phone and offer your thanks to a distant friends. If so, you will have increased two personal fortunates at once. That my friend is smart estate planning so to start this out here is a special and favorite quote ……
Treat your friends as you do your pictures, and place them in the very best light….Jeannie Jerome Churchill
Yes that quote is especially for two of my friends who are photographers, Billy Davis and Garrison Steele. Garrison is a professional photographer and for Billy it is a hobby but talent he has.
I hope you will return often and join me in what will be a very exciting month and may you find yourself saying Life Is Simply Good and it started at Always Victoria. Come back you’all !
