Tis the season so many like to believe in miracles and if not miracles then maybe a little magic. Here Life Is Simly Good but very hetic and exhaustion is setting in but I must take a moment to leave you with a quote or two.
“Most of the time, we fall in love but can’t remain there. The world then calls the state we were in a delusion or infatuation … But we merely lacked, or someone else lacked, the emotional skills to hold on to the magic when the morning came. … In truth, we can go to the moon and retain its magic for a lifetime.”
– Marianne Williamson
“We think, sometimes, there’s not a dragon left. Not one brave knight, not a single princess gliding through secret forests … What a pleasure to be wrong. Princesses, knights, enchantments and dragons, mystery and adventure … not only are they here-and-now, they’re all that ever lived on earth! Masters of reality still meet us in dreams to tell us that we’ve never lost the shield we need against dragons, that blue-fire voltage arcs through us now to change our world as we wish. Intuition whispers true: We’re not dust, we’re magic!”
– Richard Bach

This is a hard time of year, so much going on and it adds to our every day stuff which is already hectic enough. Take some time for you, even if it is 30 minutes in a nice hot bubble bath.
Thanking of you! *HUGS*

When will we learn to slow down and take time to smell the roses!

Oh, I just KNOW you are competing with me for “Most Annoyingly Optimistic”. I can see it! And you just might win this one…. I really do like those quotes, though. Needed to see that tonight as I try to slay this dragon that IS my home in time for my MIL’s visit tomorrow. Another long night ahead….
And, Vic, you have no idea how honored I was to find that you had nominated me for a BOB! You are unbelievable…and that’s YET another sign that you are indeed THE MOST OPTIMISTIC PERSON OF THE DAY! And darling, may I add….

I’m not sure what Richard is on, but a good quote.

I lost my last comment. Safe to say, however, if we ever lost our sense of wonder and magic? That’s the end. Give me the blue-fire voltage any time.

I think I’ll treat myself to a Marianne book. She’s such a breath of fresh air, as are you.
