Dear Blogging Friends or Casual Lurkers,
You dropped by to see what I might have here so there must be some interest or maybe you made a mistake and found yourself here looking for something I promise you will not find. Either way if you pulled up and decided to sit a spell and visit just because your opinion differs from my opinion does not make my opinion WRONG or RIGHT. It makes it different which is not bad by any means. Different is a sign of diversity. Diversity in life is a GOOD thing.
When we disagree on that opinion we are disagreeing on one thing and does not change how I view you. You are still a very important unique person. Just because I disagree with your opinion does not mean I do not value you as a human being. It means that I disagree with your opinion. It does not mean that I disagree with ALL your opinions, but merely the one I stated that I disagreed on. I hope when I disagree with someone on an issue or it could be more than one issue that it is not taken an attack. If it does appear as that then by all means I want to discuss it more with you. I welcome open communication between us and value it but please don’t expect me to change who I am as I do not expect you to change who you are.

Such good points. I wish everyone thought this way, but it seems to be a minority of us that actually want to have discussions without attacks and hurt feelings. I guess it has a lot to do with phrasing, too. So many people don’t recognize the tone they write or speak in, and I think it leads to severe misunderstandings.

You know, I don’t think I’ve ever disagreed with you strongly enough to even argue a point. The closest we came was talking about Max Cleland, and even that was civil.
How can anyone argue with you anyway? You’re a freakin’ sweetheart!

Yes Vinny that is the only time we came close to what could be a disagreement. I found out one thing with you that I was not aware of and I very much respect you for.You take a stand and you do not give up .:razz:
