Everyone who knows me will tell you one thing, I love kids and there is nothing I would rather do than help kids. There is a a very soft hearted Sgt. Hook in Afghanistan who feels the same but he does something about it, he launched Operation Shoe Flyi n an effort to shoe the children, with no shoes on their feet, created the concept of Operation Shoe Fly. If you can collect the shoes, used or new, boys and girls (age 14 and under), and send them to Hook, he and his crewdogs will fly them out to the Afghani kids who so desperately need them.

Another way to help is of course by getting the word out on Operation Shoe Fly. Inspired by his vision, I begin to think to think and wonder was there anything I might could do that would help this project along and the little light bulb wet off, just maybe it could use its own little place in cyber world. Sgt Hooks agreed and with Lisa of Elegant Webscapes dedicating her time we now have……Sgt. Hook and Operation Shoe Fly has it’s own website and domain for updates and stories about the project and the assistance it brings to the children of Afghanistan. Hook would be most appreciative for any and all help in spreading the word on their endeavor.
